 Logistic Regression - grouped

Creator: Walter Linde-Zwirble

Posting date: 03/20/96

This template provides a complete generalized linear model for binary dependent variables. It expects grouped data, meaning one case for each covariate pattern. This template uses the Iterated Reweighted Least Squares method.

Comments: I am impressed with the depth of this template. However, as I experimented, I realized that I was somewhat uncertain what to do with many of the features. Is there a mini-manual for this template? Are there specific references that I should have a look at?
Thanks in advance.

Geoff

 Logistic Regression - ungrouped

Creator: Data Description, Inc.

Posting date: 03/20/96

The 'logistic regression - ungrouped' template is a re-tooling of the 'logistic regression - grouped' template. In this template the data do not have to be grouped. It requires a binary dependent variable and can analyze any number of factors. This template offers a selection of link functions and computes a wide range of statistics including model likelihood, deviance, dispersion, Hosmer-Lemeshow and ROC.

Comments: I am a new user of Data Desk.

I bought with the understanding that Poisson Regression would be available as a Template soon.

Please let me know the status of its development and when I can make use it.

I am a Mathematica user. I have written a Poisson Regression algorithm with Mathematica. I would be willing to test the beta version.
