New Software Marketing Firm to Represent Data Description
Ithaca, NY. Data Description has entered into a marketing agreement with the Boston Software Group, a recently formed marketing firm that specializes in tailored sales of and training for technical software to large corporations. The new firm expects to sell Data Desk® and ActivStats® to its corporate clients to meet a number of their data analysis needs. Data Desk, a fast and interactive data analysis program, will help clients apply the principles of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to large and complex data files, helping uncover patterns, relationships, and anomalies. ActivStats, a multimedia statistics course, will help clients refresh their statistical skills whenever they need to instead of when a training class schedule dictates.
According to John Sammis, Data Description's president, "This partnership will allow us to work with a team of folks who truly understand the value of our technology. Boston Software will match our products with clients who will be able to exploit them to the fullest."
